Plug wires 700 1987

Hey Ari,

I think the Bougicord wires are the best. The Bosch aren't alone with iffy ends. I got a set of ACDelco wires for my '92 740 (got a really good price) and I had to mess with all the ends to make them fit correctly. They would not engage with a 'click'. They would not stay on until I bent out out the tabs. They work fine now. But now I really respect how the Bougicord wires fit, since I removed a set from my crashed 240. If you don't feel like springing for a new set of wires just yet, try finessing them with a set of needle nose pliers. It doesn't take much to make them fit more snugly.

Regards, Jon 'Uncle Olaf'
