Help. Car won't start. Bad fuel pump? 700 1988

'88 740 will not start. No sound from fuel pump when key is turned. Swapped in good Fuel Pump Relay, still no sound from fuel pump. If I test the wires to the pump and they are hot can it be anything other than a bad pump? WIll the pump from a '89 240 bolt right in? If relay and fuse are good are there any other problems like the radio suppressor that can cause this?

(I tried jumping power through fuse block to fuel pump but still no sound from pump)

This is our main Family Vehicle so all feedback is greatly appreciated!!
