I'm a retard (or how doing your breather box can make you wish you hadn't!) 700 1989

Well,

I went along with the FAQ to get to my breather box. Someone said "remove the bracket that holds the IAC" Well, i wasn't even thinking, and I decided to not just remove that little bracket, but the BIG bracket that had three bolts in it and runs from the intake manifold to the bottom of the engine.

I just didn't take the time to look at what I was unbolting. Turns out, I unbolted the engine foot that sits on the engine mount.

Of course, I didn't notice ANY of that until I went to put the bolts back and they wouldn't thread properly. So now I'll have to jack up the engine to get the bolts in there. NOT fun. I am not prepared to do this job and I'm going to have to rig something up to lift that engine.

Anyways, my point is just to caution others so that you may learn from my silliness.

Happy Bricking!
