Are the warning lights unfused? 200 1993

I have no warning lamps, other than the check engine light, plus a continuing no charge problem. I checked all the outputs on the fuse block and they are all hot with the ignition on (except the last 2 that go hot when you turn on the tail lights). So I thought the ignition switch checked out OK but I noticed in the Bentley that the fuse block is bypassed for the ALT light on later models. So does this mean it has no fuse protection or is there a fuse before the ignition switch somewhere, or a fuse on the instrument panel?
