Radio rewired! 700 1987

Hi folks,

Now Bela Fleck sounds even better!

I successfully got my radio out (with some Kenwood keys) and deciphered the harness splice. Luckily, the installer had put 'LR' 'RR' 'LF' 'RF' tags on the wires leading to the splice. Very nice. And it looks as if new wire had been run to two out of the four speakers.

Anyway, I simply pulled up the plastic trim in a few spots to check the connections and splices, and wired in the rear speakers. The RR speaker is fuzzy, and I got a replacement that I will splice in in a little while.

Thanks to all you folks, especially Jon who helped me understand how to approach the project. It may have been simple, but it was extremely satisfying.

Ari
