I put a T5 tranny in the 122! 120-130

The old one in the 67 122s was leaking and whining, and the new 205-50 15's were a little short, so... i bought an adaptor plate from Avalanche, a $200.00 T5 from Craigs list and dropped it in. NOT! I cut out the trans tunnel, built new crossmember mounts, modified the clutch fork, got the driveshaft shortened, did a bunch of other stuff, then went driving. What a good thing to do!It was so worth it! I took a bunch of pictures, but i'm to ignorant to put them up yet. This is not an easy project. If you can't weld and fabricate and figure things out, you may want to have it done by a professional. Now if i could just get my carbs working right........
