Start Issue 200 1991

My newest 240 is a 1988, and things get moved around some years. The fuel pump relay is above the front passenger's right toe. Either mounted on the firewall or close to the ECU which is mounted on the outer wall in there.

Check the wiring to the crank position sensor. They seem to have a reputation for creating un-findable problems. First look at the wire connection to it, between the firewall and the back of the block. If it looks bad, consider a replacement.

Good Luck,

Bob
