Why should I not do this to my headliner? 700 1990

Another approach - probably 2/3rds of the headliner on my 89 wagon was sagging badly when I bought it in May. It would "snow" fragments of tan foam when I drove with windows open. In the archives I found recommendation to pin it back up with "T" type pins from Wall Mart. Did that and drove the rest of summer with windows down (air not working) and it has held fine. I suggest two packs of pins (about $1 or $2 per pack).
