740 Engine Problem 700 1988

Hey Brickowner,


Sorry to hear that wasn't able to stave off your problem. You said in your previous post that you checked the electrical connections. Did you take a look at the chassis grounds? If they are corroded, they can cause the problems you're experiencing.

One thing you may want to take a look at is the knock sensor. If its signal is missing, it can cause rough running and a rich mixture. This is explained further in the link posted above.
