960 electrical tricks 900 1997

Hello,

I am back in the Volvo fold with a used 1997 965. The car has run great the last few weeks, but has been losing coolant. The plastic radiator was cracked and today I replaced it. To remove the automatic tranny connection I removed the battery. Big mistake. With everything hooked back up I went to start the car and when I opened the door the emergency flashers started up. The car is
immobilized and will not start.

Is this a Volvo feature? Can it be turned off?

Thanks,

Randy Anderson
