Bendix ECU compatablity 700

Well these usually fail at about 150K and I had a 1989 240 I bought that didnt run, it would just crank but not start (the injectors wouldnt fire) so I bought a $75 ecu and it started right up and ran perfect for a few months until I sold it for a tidy profit. I figure why go through the headache of tracing a ton of stupid sensors and relays when I can check the main ecu for $50 and be sure thats not it.

But you are sure that the S101560102B/E/Ds are the same as my A? They all say 3531658 and are all from 740 non turbos. I just dont want to get stuck with an ecu that wont work right and not be able to rule it out.
