comments on the 240? 200

I love mine, and hope to never drive anything else. I would upgrade to one with less rust if I could, but thats about all I'd change. Whats gone wrong? A little bit of everything--nothing major, but lots of little stuff over the years. Between my experiences and reading the Brickboard daily, I have a pretty good idea what the problem is when there is one, and I have a good chance of fixing it myself. Some things still have go to the mechanic, but I fix as much as I can myself, and seek out used parts when appropriate.

If you're going to be taking the car to a mechanic every time something goes wrong, and paying dealer prices for new parts, then a 240 is probably a bad choice--it can get expensive quick. If you're generally a handy, the Brickboard and a Bentley manual can get you through most problems, even if you have no 240 experience.
