Removing front seats, could the Air Bag go off 900 1992

No problem with the 92 model. later models 95- have a side air bag in the seat. A protecting divice is provided to avoid air bag deployment when working on the seat. If you want you can desconnect a yellow plug under the driver's side dash board to the center console. Car that old do not reconnect the seat heater when you are done I have seen burned seats inside caused by broken electric coil. No fire probably because lack of oxigen, but don't take chances.
