A quick pull to the right and then? 700

Greetings,

You may be missing parts of the outer wheel bearing. The outer bearing may have failed, then seized, causing the pulling and noise and perhaps causing the axle nut to seize also.

The axle/bearing nut should come loose fairly easy, until you get it off and are able to inspect the bearings you can't rule them out as the cause of your problem.

If you find bad bearing(s), make sure you check the other side also because it may not be in good shape either.
Hope this helps,
rcs
