comments on the 240? 200

This will take a few, When my oldest son turned 16 My sister sold me a Honda Civic for him to drive the car was perfect We lived on a gravel road at the time and he was coming home with his friend down the road they crested a hill and the car unweighted and as then came down he lost control in the loose gravel, and slid into a telephone pole just behind the drivers side front wheel he broke both his femurs and had bleeding on the brain he was only going 35 mph...Spent 3 weeks in ICU and months and months of PT... To make a long story short when my next son started driving I bought a nice black on black brick 240 and put some 16in wheels on it to make it look a lil Sporty ; ) and taught him how to drive on gravel Im now on my fourth Volvo, I have a 93 244 136000 miles $1350 a 90 245 with 247000 miles 550 paid and drove it 100 miles home it my dogs car just ask him... A 242 with a blown motor looking for a doner car...Just got off the phone with the next one a 740 turbo wagon....and it was Dad's car.....

There fun to tinker on cheap to run and insure, and people all ways check them out....

Nuff said.... Good luck! A fast Volvo is still a safe car...
