You may want to take a look at your coolant temp sensor and the ignition system. A faulty coolant temp sensor will cause the injection to enrich the the mixture needlessly. Bad ignition cap/rotor/wires can cause misfires. You may want to take a look at your impulse sensor. Another thing to check out is the fuel pressure regulator. Remove the small vacuum hose, and check the presence of fuel/odor. If you note either/both, its bad and needs to be replaced. You mentioned replacing the hot air hose, is the thermostat in the airbox in good shape? It must be holding the flap to the cold side if its more than 60 degrees out or so. If not, it needs to be replaced. Eeuroparts and FCP Groton both stock this part. Its about $10.00. What spark plugs are you using? The Bosch platinum plugs seem to cause misfires in the engines. Hopefully others will have ideas.
