B21A Wiring Harness

Hello,

To get part numbers, you will need to get a copy of the Volvo microfiche.

I do not know if anyone has it on compact disc yet.

I have copies of the parts manual on microfiche and I will double check the part number for the engine harness.

I pulled the harness that I have and I have previously marked it as fitting 81-84 240 with a carburator and it is still sealed in a bag.

I have both the factory Volvo wiring manual and a copy of the Haynes manual and they both have the same wiring diagrams.

Unforturnately the wiring diagram covers all electrical components for a 1982 240 which is very confusing as it includes all the fuel injection and electronic ignition components which are not used on a B21A. It does show items directly related to the B21A, but like I said, it is mixed in with all the other engine electrical systems and the diagram is hard to read.

The factory Volvo manual does break down individual systems on seperate pages in the manual, ie the breaker points ignition system has a few pages that only refers to this exact system including a very nice wiring diagram on the specific system.
