1991 240 Wagon - starts up fine then dies 200 1991

I have a line on a 1991 240 Wagon (Estate) with only 100k miles. The brother in law of the owner says that 3 weeks ago he got a call from her that the car had stopped. He went to look at and found a bad contact at the fuel pump fuse. He cleaned it up and she drove off. A week later he got another call. Again he played with the fuel pump fuse and it ran fine for a week. Yet another call, and he could not keep it running (starts but dies). The car runs for about a minute then dies. It starts right back up but will die out.

Is this a classic fuel pump relay issue? Or MAF? Or could this be some electrical gremlin in the harness? Any thoughts?

Thanks
Pablo
