Dan,

Bruce is spot on with his testing process. I just want add one more thing to his excellent tips. If you get no spark from shorting the two pins (yellow and black) on the distributor connected, you can back pin and short pins 5&9 on the ICU connector. The yellow and black wires end up there and if you have no spark there it has to be the connector or the ICU itself.
