ABS module location 200 1993

I have a '93.

Behind the glovebox are 2 electronic boxes. One is the LH 2.4 Bosch fuel injection ECU, the other is the Bosch ignition ECU.

The airbag ECU is under the drivers seat (with the orange wiring bundles because they control something that explodes). The ABS ECU is under the passenger seat, as mentioned you really have to remove the seat to get to it, the carpet can't pull back easily enough otherwise.

There is a surge protector (I think that's what it's called) right next to it, with a fuse in it. That's a common problem. I got a Bentley manual when I got my car and spent a while going through the very complete diagnostic, and found 2 faults. One was the burnt fuse, the other was a removed warning light in the instrument cluster. (Naughty eBay Volvo seller!)
