Correct way to install a 240 battery tray? 200

I am replacing the battery on my wife's 1985 Volvo 240. Whoever changed out the battery last time just left the bracket (kind of a long L-shaped piece) and a long tie-down bolt (threaded on one end, loop on the other) laying beside the battery.

If I sat down for a while, I could probably figure out how this bracket and the tie down work together to hold the battery in place, but I can't seem to figure it out just now. What's the correct way to install the battery?

There's no photo in the Bentley or in the owners manual to guide me, either.

Thanks in advance,

Aaron
