There is no oil leaking. There is no hissing noise. Stopped smoothing-out when I spray around #3.

I've made myself stop thinking about cylinder 3. The airbox flap is closed and it is about 92 degrees in the shade; hmm?

I put on a Mann air filter, lots of fuel additive, swapped-out the vacuum booster, cleaned the AMM & the check engine light is still coming on. Starts nicely. Runs like it has power to spare. Idle is somewhat fast and a little irregular & sputtery. Has some valve clatter for a second when I floor it uphill. OBD 2-1-2, 2-3-1, 2-3-2. Had one instance of 2-4-1.
