A/C evaporator drainage 700 1991

After my car is parked for a while in the evening it dumps a huge puddle of water in the garage. Now, we do live in hot, humid Florida, but I've never seen another car dump so much water from the A/C system before.

FWIW, the A/C works fine, and it does drip as it should while driving or idling. It just seems to slowly unload a lot over an hour or two in the evening after parking it. Hard to say how much, because a pint or quart dropped on the garage floor always looks like a lot more than it really is, but I'd guess that it is between a pint and a quart.

Making matters worse is the fact that our garage floor is not properly sloped as it should be, so the big puddle tends to soak stuff stashed in the other half of the garage and build up if the humidity is too high for it to dry out each day. Yuck!

Is this unusual?
