Will a turbo down pipe fit to a non turbo exhaust?? 900 1995

95-940na, I snagged an oil cooler assy from a turbo car. Bolts to the block in place of the oil filter and relocates the filter rearward. On a non turbo car the filter can not fit due to it being right at the down pipe.

I can get the manifold & down pipe from a turbo car that allows the filter & cooler to install properly. Do I need a complete exhaust, or will the turbo down pipe bolt up to the stock exhaust. If I go that route I will use the manifold from a turbo & use a thick metal plate to block off the opening that a missing turbo would leave.

Only wanting to do this mod so I can fit an oil cooler. Maybe get a little more longevity from the engine. Already fitted a factory trans cooler.

Also, what cam offers better performance for the 95 4-banger? Seems to run out of steam around 4K. I don't race this car, but I do like to be able to merge onto the interstate smoothly.

Thanks Dave
