Intank fuel pump replacement 900 1994

Hi all,
1994 940 Turbo, the main fuel pump was making noise and I could not hear any noise in the tank. I pulled an intank pump from a wrecking yard. This weekend when I pulled the pump from my volvo's tank, I noticed that my car's pump is a smaller than the pump I pulled from yard. It seems that I made a mistake that I did not checked the model/year of the car. I just got into the trunk and worked on pulling the pump. Though the pump looks same and I doubt that it is form 960 that has only one pump as mentioned on the site, my question is that can it be installed in my 940 or not.
thanks
