repair off wiring from fuel level and power lead going to in-tank pump thru connector 200 1984

Has anyone repaired those, or a waste of time. Engine was running rough and checked everything else, and ended up being the wire in the connector going to fuel pump. inside the tank, pump wiring, pump ground and fuel sender check ok to the connector.
