I know the mirror will fit, but what size hole do I need to drill into the inside plastic triangular plate for the adjuster to go through, or is there a source for this plate with the hole already in it?

The alternative is to replace the glass in the chrome mirror. Is there a way to take the glass out in one piece and retain the rubber gasket to fit around new glass?
