Shifter shake in 1st gear 700 1991

Moderate acceleration from a stop results in violent side to side shifter shaking in my 91 740 turbo wgn, M46.
If I hold the shifter the shaking is eliminated.
No odd noises or strange driving issues other than the shifter shaking.
I just replaced the tranny mount. It had some splits in it. This mount is about 1 1/2-2 yrs old. In the previous one the rubber was completely separated from the steel bracket. Seems like too short a life for mounts.

I'm guessing there are some rubber mounts that support the trans elsewhere that need replacing.

Any help appreciated.
Ian
