later MC adapter ring 120-130

"I bought one of Ron Kwas' brake switch brackets, and mounted it to a crossbar across the brake/clutch box inside the car to keep the piston rod from coming out of the MC."

I would like more information about this. Pictures or words to explain why the rod doesn't come out with original MC, and why it does with this modification. I understand the need for a longer rod - thickness of the adapter ring + and differences in the internal lengths of the MC so that the pedal/rod actuates the dual MC the same as the original, but I don't understand how the rod can come out with the dual and not the original. Any pictures? and thanks.
