Popping in front suspension-after control arm bushings replaced-it's still there 200 1992

In search of sage advice from the board members- recently with the 92 240 Wagon, the clunking from the suspension going over bumps and upon acceleration and braking was getting annoying. My trustworthy 'take the big jobs to him' Volvo Specialist replaced the control arm bushings, but a pop is still there on the passenger side. I've looked at the ball joints and they were recently replaced and tight. I also replaced the strut mount on the drivers side and that did not make a difference. Should I be looking at the sway bar bushings? When under acceleration or braking it's a distinctive 'pop' when under torque. Thanks in advance., Greg
