I had a similar issue with my 93 944 Regina system. Since the car wasn't being driven I took the better part of a year and started going through all of the sensors and replacing them. At 275000 miles they were due anyway. Over the period of a year I replaced the fuel filter and checked the fuel pressure, O2 sensor, map sensor, ECT, cleaned the coil contacts several times, replaced the wires and distributor cap and rotor, to no avail. I could drive the car until it warmed up and it would be fine. As soon as it came up to temp it would start bucking on acceleration. What had eluded me since I work on so many of these cars was that I had never changed the sparkplugs on this one and thought that I had. When I finally pulled the plugs the electrodes were burned off! Replacing the plugs solved the problem immediately. I recommend maintenance replacement of all sensors if the car has over 150K miles(for the cost of a car payment)and definitely change the plugs no matter what they look like, at regular intervals.
Regards,
