Cost to replace rear brake pads? 200 1989

No one has mentioned this---with the money you will save on the labor and parts profit--buy a set of quality jack stands--small ones should run about $25/30 each--and USE them. If you have access to a hydraulic floor jack lift the car from the center of the differential and place the jack stands under the standard jacking points-the axle will hang. Or you can lift the car one side at a time with the standard jack and place the supports under the big bushings on the trailing arms directly under the axle-the springs will get compressed. You will use the jack stands many times and have them forever (two of mine were my dad's--purchased more than 40 years ago).
