He means *the* steering column. Upper shaft and the lower half with the worm gear.

if you've got the source, just get the whole box intact along the upper portion of the steering column. You can get replacement "cup" bits from IPD. With the whole box, it's just a bolt-and-go, you won't have to rebuild the box with new gaskets an seals.

Odd... the 68's are moderately rare. Weird that that's the first thing to fall into your lap...


I've got a 68, but I'm also installing the safer 68-style setup into my 67 wagon too.
