Ordering 122 Parts from a dealer

Can anybody tell me how dealers determine whether a part for a 122 is available? My understanding is that Volvo dealers can get anything GCP carries. I pulled the front and rear window seal part numbers from gcp and gave them to the local Volvo dealer who said they were no longer available.

However, GCP lists them as in stock. I hope they are still available, because my car leaks like a sieve.
