Engine mount "spring' snapped? 700

While changing the oil I noticed that the metal strap that wraps from the top to bottom of the engine mount (pssgr side) is snapped in two.

I've wondered sometimes if the mounts should be swapped out. There's some yanking back and forth when shifting to or through reverse, and plenty of wobble going on at idle. The oil pan doesn't **quite** rest on the bumper on the crossbar underneath it, and the fan on the water pump isn't **quite** dragging on it's shroud, so I figured I'm OK, but now, with this broken strap--whatever it is--I'm wondering again.
