Need advice on brake rotor exchangability and report of a new car! 700 1988

Rear rotors are the same (as far as I know) on most if not all 240s and 740s, BUT there are several different kinds of fronts for 740s, determined by diameter and thickness, none of which will interchange with a 240, nor are fronts and rears the same on any of them.

The fan motor is only a problem on 240s---it's readily accessible under the right side of the dash on 7 series cars, about a 1/2 hour job if you have a 1/4" ratchet, 6" extension, u-joint and the right size socket.
