You know, flashing text, often RED, I believe the html tag was introduced back in HTML 1.0 or 2.0 (approximately the same time I learned to build websites - circa 1992).

I Am Blinking Text - from the first iteration of HTML .

Look upon me and despair!!!!


They say you can NEVER use the blink tag too much.

It's the clearest way to get attention (and induce seizures).


So, not to be critical of such a great source of info, but blink tags drive me nuts.
