Pilot Bearing? 200

Hello,
I have a 1991 245 with 182,000 miles on it with manual transmission. I am getting a whining/humming, bad bearing sound that is getting worse. At first it was only after releasing the clutch pedal in 1st gear from a stop, only once, first time I used the car for the day. It was just a quick 1/2 second hum noise, especially in the colder weather. Now during a longer recent trip it was whining/humming in every gear. The noise was pretty constant but would come in and out at different engine rpms. The noise goes away immediately and every time I step on the clutch pedal and will return as soon as I release the clutch pedal.

Any thoughts.
Thanks.
