Time for new rolling stock 200 1992

Okay, I got lucky and suckered 35K miles out of a set of Yokohama ES-100 205x50x16 tires. Considering how I drive, 35K miles should be considered a miracle! Since those tires are summer performance only (close to race only), I've decided to switch to another Yokohama tire, the Avid V4S 205x55x16. I have been running this same tire on the Eclipse with no complaints to report.

My question is if anyone has run the 205x55x16 tire size on a IPD sport spring lowered 245. I'm assuming they will fit and not rub, beyond that, the speedo should be half way closer to accurate.

Thoughts?
