wet carpet 900 1992

Sometimes the AC evaporator drain tube that goes through the firewall and drains into the engine compartment can come out of the firewall, allowing AC condensate to wet the passenger floorboard. Make sure that hasn't happened.

But since this seems to be related to the rain, that's probably not it. Does your car have a sunroof? The sunroof drains down the inside of the A pillar (and the C pillar, though not sure how that applies to a wagon). If it's clogged, water could be backing up there. Check out the FAQ for more info on sunroof drain issues.

Good luck with the problem.
