wet carpet 900 1992

I'm going through the same problem with my 95 960.
When it rains, I cover the windshield section with a tarp, which stops the carpet from getting wet. The reveal moldings are coming off, which may or may not contribute to this problem.
I will be having the windshield replaced in a couple of weeks due to rock damage, which I hope will stop the leakage.
IMO, I think it is definitely the windshield leaking, because no other places in the car, including the headliner, get wet.
Keep us posted.
