Spectacular Radiator Failure. What To Replace And Need Parts Recommendations 700 1992

The electric cooling fan is stock on your car. Replace the radiator with another plastic and aluminum version. I'd also replace the the heater hoses and heater valve. Check your upper and lower radiator hoses, too. I like the black radiator caps since the lower pressure stresses the cooling system less. I've run them for years on our turbo 700s, and never had a problem with boil over.

Your cooling problem may be caused by a slipping harmonic balancer. Two years ago I bought a 1992 740T which had blown a headgasket from overheating. The reason for the overheating was the slipping harmonic balancer which wouldn't drive the water pump enough to cool the engine.

I think your cooling fan is not coming on because the hot coolant is not being pumped into the radiator from the engine.
