I have an IPD 7002 cam in mine and it does pretty well. They haven't sold them for quite a while but
you could probably order a D cam from GCP. That would certainly be an improvement.
For reasons unknown, ALL US B30s came with the C cam, even D-jet models.
There may be other suppliers for cams also. Most B30 heads I have seen have pretty constricted
exhaust ports just below the valve seat. I think opening these up will help a lot also.
