You should be able to get a better idea of the location of the leak with a hose.

There is a rain drip shield on the right side under the cowl. These shields are glued in place with a butyl caulk that may be failing.
The pic shows the fan with the drip shield removed. The leaves got into the fan because of an issue with the cowl screen.
