Tool box 700 1992

I've seen those gloves often enough to be fairly sure they are part of the kit. I think what goes in the "ONLY B28 AND 4-CYL TURBO" slot is a longer tubular spark plug/lug wrench, and those cars don't get the regular one. Its handle might be the mysterious L-shaped bar, or maybe that's the crank for the power seats, and the turbo plug wrench takes the same handle as the regular one.

Out of curiosity, I just got out my 88-90 740 parts book, which shows the box itself, in the full range of colors, and for contents it shows two wrenches 10 x 11 and 12 x 13 mm, the tubular wrench, in two types, regular and turbo, its handle (the pry bar) and a reversible screwdriver (which, in my experience, is usually light blue in color, with straight on one end and #2 Philips on the other, and is only found in cars up to 89. There is no mention of the red handled one with a white cap and interchangeable bits which is standard for 90 and later. (I will check the ones I have some time in the next couple of days and try to determine exactly which bits they are supposed to have---I have a couple of sedan tool rolls that look like the day they were made) There is also the crank handle for the power seats, which has a metal crank handle, a flexible shaft, and a solid tip that engages the seat mechanism. Finally, there is an item I have NEVER seen before, and suspect was not included in US spec cars---a single ended open end wrench, 24.8 mm, presumably for the oil drain plug.
