turbo starla muffler on non-turbo car 900 1991

Hi All,

1991 B234 (16v) 940 sedan, immaculate - no turbo.

I just ordered, received, and installed the turbo muffler setup (axle pipe, muffler, tailpipe) from fcp - starla.

I ordered this because I needed a muffler and figured it would sound a tab bit rummblier. It does however, sound like nothing more than a muffler with a hole in it. A test drive and I almost got a headache. It sounds like a cheap pimpy muffler you buy from the local parts shop.

Were the stock turbo mufflers so loud? I am not happy at all with what I got, anyone else have any experience putting a turbo muffler on a non-turbo car?

Thanks,
