The FAQ says use a 1" socket or wrench for the drain plug and I find it works fine, just a little sloppy. Maybe a 25mm socket or wrench would be better, but I don't have one. If a 24.8mm wrench is a perfect fit, it likely wouldn't work after the drain plug has been burred from years of using 1" tools, not to mention (ugh) adjustable wrenches.
