Bench bled and installed the new master cylinder, removed the failure warning switch from the junction block, and hooked up the pressure bleeder. Finally had success using the pressure bleeder IN TANDEM with pumping the brake pedal.

Drove the car on a short jaunt and had a nice, firm brake pedal -- at last.
