Retrofitting large tach and small clock in 1990 240; How To? 200

I'm just starting to research this...

Can anyone educate this newbie on what's involved in replacing the large clock with a large tach, and then installing a 52mm small clock?

How to wire...wiring harness(es) needed? (I don't have the large tach yet, and I've never had one to examine; nor have I pulled out the spedo cluster yet to see what's involved).

This is for my 1990 240 N/A autotragic transmission wagon.

Was this upgrade ever sold as a kit, and if so, were there installation instructions that someone might have a scan of?

BTW, to do this project, I'm looking for a matte finish large 7K rpm tach, if anyone has one for sale.

Thanks.
