Overdrive Issue 120-130 1968

I'm at work and can't do much investigation right now.

My OD abruptly switched off on my way to work. I lost the indicator light (wired from the relay) and I assumed I had lost power to the OD unit. After getting off the highway, I found that the indicator re-lit with I flipped switch, but when it jumped into OD it promptly jumped back out and in and out before I switched it off. When it jumped out of OD I lost the indicator light again.

I think the indicator light is most telling and I suspect it means my OD relay was intermittently cutting power to the solenoid. I have a spare relay on my relay bar under the hood so I may try and swap it before I leave tonight. I expect that this will fix the issue. However...

Does this sound like it could be something else such as the 4th gear lockout or the solenoid? Or anything else?
